EPCplanner was created by a project controls professional who spent 28 years managing exactly the problems the platform solves.
EPC projects fail not because of bad schedules. They fail because the data behind the schedule is scattered, unverifiable and impossible to audit. Progress lives in spreadsheets. Cost lives somewhere else. Documents are tracked in shared drives. By the time you assemble a period report, you have already lost two days and introduced three opportunities for error.
EPCplanner exists because this problem is structural, not operational. You cannot fix it with better spreadsheets. You need a platform where engineering, procurement, cost and schedule share the same data from the start.
One Project. One Database. One Version of the Truth.
Every feature was designed starting from how EPC projects actually work, not from a generic software template. The terminology, the workflows and the data model reflect real project controls practice.
Freeze Guard, audit log and historical snapshots are not optional add-ons. They are structural requirements of any serious project controls environment, so they are built into the core of every project.
Cloud dependency is a luxury EPC sites cannot always afford. EPCplanner was designed from the outset to operate from a local or LAN database, with no compromise in functionality.
EPCplanner was developed by a project controls professional who has worked across all three major roles in EPC project delivery: as a contractor responsible for delivering progress, as an owner responsible for verifying it, and as a PMC responsible for making sense of it from both sides.
That experience across the Oil and Gas sector, covering projects in Egypt and across the Gulf region, is directly reflected in the design choices EPCplanner makes: the three-layer governance framework, the CBS weighting methodology, the period locking discipline, and the focus on auditability at every level.
EPCplanner is a commercial product developed independently. It is not backed by a large software organisation. It is backed by two and a half decades of knowing exactly what goes wrong when project data is not unified.
Structured pilot deployments with selected organisations across Egypt and the Gulf region. Feedback from real projects informs the production roadmap.
A unified management dashboard aggregating KPIs, progress trends and governance status across all disciplines in a single view.
Additional modules and integrations will be prioritised based on pilot feedback and customer requirements.
EPCplanner is currently accepting pilot partners. Contact us to discuss your project environment and whether EPCplanner is a fit.
